Surgical Orthopedics Zurich is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, ankle, and foot. Our focus is on providing specialized care for disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
University-affiliated
The institute's owner and director, Dr. med. univ. Kourosh Modaressi, has a wealth of experience gained from many years at prestigious university hospitals. Alongside his medical work, he has a teaching appointment at the University of Zurich and frequently teaches undergraduate courses.

Personalized care is at the heart of what we do. Dr. Modaressi will provide you with dedicated, personal attention throughout your treatment. We'll take the time to get to know you during your first visit and work together to develop a treatment plan that best suits your needs.
Registration
We welcome patients from all insurance plans. You can either get a referral from your family doctor or book an appointment with us directly. Second opinions are also available.
Surgical Procedures
If surgery becomes necessary, these procedures can be performed on an inpatient or outpatient basis at the following hospitals: Klinik Pyramide, Zürich, Privatklinik Bethanien, Zürich, Universitätsklinik Balgrist, Zürich oder im Spital Zollikerberg.
